Most of us have heard or read about Obama and Mccain enjoying poker. But what if they were secretly playing on Full Tilt Poker? What would their names be? Which avatars would they choose? I have my own ideas about what we’d see from the US Presidential Candidates on Full Tilt. Could these players be them?

John Mccain – Republican Presidential Candidate

Also known as “The Maverick” John Mccain served the US proudly in the Vietnam War. He even spent 5 years in a Vietnamese prison camp. I imagine Mccain would be a solid poker player. His patience and discipline would provide the basis for a strong Tight-Aggressive playing style. That, or he’s a complete calling station.

Barack Obama – Democratic Presidential Candidate

Favorite Game: Pot Limit Omaha
Stakes: $100/$200
Quote: “Thank you for supporting the Obama Campaign with your donation”

Obama’s charisma and intelligence have led to him being the favorite to become the next US President, but how would he fair at the poker table? I think Barack Obama would be a ferocious competitor. I believe we’d see him play a straight-forward game. And when a donk sucked out on him, I believe he’d say “nh sir” and mean it.

Sarah Palin – Republican Vice Presidential Candidate

Favorite Game: No Limit Hold’em
Stakes: Play Money

If you don’t know (or can’t figure out) what VPILF is – it stands for Vice President I’d Like to F….<– insert appropriate inappropriate word of choice. Sarah Palin, while being extremely likable, would be a complete fish at the poker table. If you’re every sitting at a table with Sarah and she leads into you on the river when an innocent-looking deuce pairs the board – just muck the pocket aces, and say “nh VPILF”.
